As you all probably noticed my sneak previews have recently been a lot more brief - mainly due to the internet connection being on and off - and me worrying minute to minute that if the connection goes down, I would have typed lots for nothing! That's happened a few times now...so generally keeping things short and sweet!
But I am going to take my chances today - I have to tell you about this little man. He is 12 days today, so slightly older than I prefer newborns to be at their first session, but he did ever so well. He really made me chuckle, as I am sure he knew exactly what was going on. The shot on his tummy was one of the first shots I took, and normally newborns will only lay like this when asleep. Teddy just sort of lifted his head, looked at me and then held that pose for a full 3 minutes or so. Then the one on the blue background - where I was trying to do the curled up newborn shot - again, he just lifted up, looked over as if to say " what do you expect me to do now?" . Normal newborn behavior ( i.e sweetly asleep) resumed after a good feed!
It's funny how all the newborns are so different. One thing I will say is a definite - if the parents are relaxed and chilled out , so are the babies. So, if you are looking to book a newborn photography session with me - remember no fussing is allowed, and your job is lay back on the sofa, with a nice latte or a cup of tea! I have plenty of experience photographing newborns so just trust me and enjoy the session, it's nice watch your new addition simply being cute!
