About Me Hi and welcome to my Blog!  Here I will post sneak previews of recent photo sessions, including newborn photos, baby photos, and some older childrens' photos. Some personal bits, my random musings and also keep you posted on what is happening in my world. I would really love it if you took the time to leave a comment if you see something you like. Please take your time and explore, there are pages and pages of previous sessions, which include photos of some gorgeous babies, and older children. And hopefully, we will meet soon...Much love, Maria
Today I had a split session with the lovely Holly, Dylan & Ruby and mummy and daddy.  We started off in the studio and they went off to South Weald Country park to get some outdoor images. All 3 kids are lovely, but also very different, and I had a bit of a job convincing Dylan that having your picture taken is a very good idea - typical boy! Holly also informed me that it's fairly boring stuff so I had to move quickly before everyone lost interest. I think Ruby enjoyed it the most , but then she can't talk yet so who knows what she made of it all!

Today I had the pleasure of shooting a session with George and mummy an daddy. We did the shoot on the beach in Frinton-on-Sea. What I love about that beach is mainly how quiet it is , just the sea and some beach huts. We got there early when the tide was out and it was lovely morning. George really enjoyed running around and playing with the sand. In fact he barely stood still so I got a bit of a early morning workout!

Today I was in South Weald Country shooting Kayleigh's last beginnings session. She looked lovely in her spotty pink dress. She is a strong minded little lady and knew exactly what she did and didn't want. We had a little walk, first to the tall grasses and then to the bird hide, and once we found a gate Kayleigh could open and closed she was very happy! Here is a sneak peek -

Today session was in the studio, which was great since my hay fever seems to have come back with a vengeance. Luca arrived with mummy and daddy, and greeted me with a lovely smile. He has a funky choppy hair cut, which I thought was very cute! He was an angel pretty much for the whole session, and he smiled so much! It's always nice to see a content baby. As always a sneak preview for you -

This morning I finally got round to photographing these 3 lovely girls ! Kerry ( who a lot of you will know) and who works with me, has been a dear friend since we met at a NCT class 7 years ago. Kerry has been in charge of the viewings for the last 3 or 4 years now, and I couldn't do without her! We have been meaning to do this for some time, so I am really pleased we finally got round to it. Kerry's girls are a complete credit to her ( and daddy of course) and were good as gold. Because of the different age groups they certainly do have different attentions spans, but we tied the session up in about an hour and a half, which is pretty much the average. I was going to use some nice balloons, but being as dopey as I am I tied them to a bench and when I went back for them...they were gone :( I obviously need some lessons in tying knots! All images shot using natural light and reflectors at South Weald Country Park. Anyway, without further ado, here are the girlies -
