This morning I finally got round to photographing these 3 lovely girls ! Kerry ( who a lot of you will know) and who works with me, has been a dear friend since we met at a NCT class 7 years ago. Kerry has been in charge of the viewings for the last 3 or 4 years now, and I couldn't do without her! We have been meaning to do this for some time, so I am really pleased we finally got round to it. Kerry's girls are a complete credit to her ( and daddy of course) and were good as gold. Because of the different age groups they certainly do have different attentions spans, but we tied the session up in about an hour and a half, which is pretty much the average. I was going to use some nice balloons, but being as dopey as I am I tied them to a bench and when I went back for them...they were gone :( I obviously need some lessons in tying knots! All images shot using natural light and reflectors at South Weald Country Park. Anyway, without further ado, here are the girlies -

Today
I had a lovely session in the studio with Samuel, a gorgeous looking
little boy. I always look forward to seeing how my Beginnings scheme
babies change - Samuel has bright blue eyes and curly blonde hair, he
looks like a little angel. He was very well behaved and we got lots of
smiles as long as mummy and daddy were staying close by!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Mia Lucy, a lovely 16 month old girl. She came along for her session with daddy, and thankfully warmed to me quickly enough. We had a great session which was mainly all about playing with with various toys, dancing and pulling faces - her expressions are great. Mia has beautiful big brown eyes and eyelashes to die for! Here is a little sneak peek -

She is a beauty! It's amazing how much she has changed. Her personality certainly translates in her pictures.

This afternoon I had another session, this time in South Weald Country park. This time it was 2 very pretty girls, Mia whom I have photographed at least 4 times now, and her lovely sister Emme who I met for the first time. The family dog, mummy and daddy also came along so we had the whole family present! The girls looked really sweet in their dresses, and acted really sweet too until Mia summed the proceedings up with "this is doing my head in". Classic, I couldn't help but laugh!

My first session this morning was Gabriel and big sister Scarlett. Last time I saw Gabriel he was a newborn, so of course he looked completely different! he has lots of lovely hair and is just so cute - I just love that serious pic. Scarlett has always been photogenic and is naturally very pretty, so it made my job relatively easy...apart from the fact that getting a picture together of those 2 age groups is a definite challenge!

Frances Herbert:
Ahh I am Gabriel's and Scarlett's surrogate Auntie, living in the USA. You captured them perfectly. Adorable! Their little personalities really shine through - a memory to treasure for us all!
