My first session this morning was Gabriel and big sister Scarlett. Last time I saw Gabriel he was a newborn, so of course he looked completely different! he has lots of lovely hair and is just so cute - I just love that serious pic. Scarlett has always been photogenic and is naturally very pretty, so it made my job relatively easy...apart from the fact that getting a picture together of those 2 age groups is a definite challenge!

My afternoon ended with 2 cheeky little rascals - Hayden & big brother Ethan. I met the boys and mummy at Bedfords Park. It had just started raining , but it wasn't to bad, so the boys had a quick runabout. Ethan, being older, was cool, calm & collected , whilst Hayden had great fun simply running off whenever the camera was pointed in his direction! Still we got some lovely shots and here is a preview.

My second session today was with a lovely little newborn, Sophia, her big brother Hugh and of course mummy and daddy. Sophia as most newborns was asleep for most of the shoot, but did have a brief period of being very alert which was great as we could get a nice variety of images. Hugh is a handsome little boy, and was happy as long he was occupied my jumping and various toys - he did rather well well considering and average 2 old's attentions span! here is a little previous - as always newborns get a slightly bigger sneak peek!

anthony Wilson:
thank you, Maria - we all really enjoyed the session with you and these shots are great. It's so nice that you've captured Hugh's smile in the close-up of him. We look forward to seeing all of them.

This morning I had a bit of a change of scenery - I went to King George's Park in Brentwood. I met Mia with mummy and daddy by the lovely flowerbeds and used the flowers to five some of the images are more hazy, romantic feel as per mummy's request.I last saw Mia when she was a tiny newborn, and she has changed so much. She is a beautiful, smiley & content little girl, and it was a pleasure to photograph the family again.

Well I am back! I had a lovely holiday, although I did do a little bit of work too, and already feel like I haven't been away...have a very busy 10 days ahead of me with 3 weddings, several portrait sessions, proofing, orders etc. + about 150 emails to reply to! I very much appreciate your patience , and if you have emailed whilst I am away you will definitely get a response in the next 3-4 days at the latest. I will blog some holiday stuff when I get the chance...
My first session upon my return was the gorgeous Maria, a lovely newborn, just 3 weeks old. However, as her due date was today she is still a newborn size, and ever so lovely. Content all the way through the session, it was a great shoot to come back to - I really enjoyed it. Mummy & daddy, I hope you like these - thanks for your patience!

Anna (Maria's mummy):
These are incredible, and so beautiful. You've really captured our precious little girl, her personality and little expressions, esp the pink hat shot. I just love it. Thank you so much for these, I can't wait to see the rest! We all had such a good time in the session and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you.
