Ethan Beginnings session 1

After a busy week of doing some commercial work, album design, E sessions and lots of other things I was back in the studio today - and have another busy week next week!

This morning I had a session with the lovely Ethan with mummy and daddy. He did really well although he did make us work a little - Ethan did a great trick of smiling, then frowning as soon as the camera was on him! It's definitely not unusual, so mummy set about getting those smiles whilst I waited to catch those lovely moments. Here are a couple of favorites from the session -

Sophia Newborn Session

Today's session was with a newborn baby girl - sweet little Sophia, just 7 days old. Sophia came along with mummy, and my brief was to get the more unusual shots using lots of hats and baskets. Sophia was as good as gold and quite happy to play model providing she was regularly topped up with lots of milk!

Sasha Maya newborn session

My second session today was with a beautiful baby girl, who is almost 6 weeks old. Sasha came to see me all the way from Hampstead. Amazingly, it was much like a newborn session and I was able to get those lovely sleepy shots, as well as few unexpected bonus ones. Sasha is William's ( photographed a couple of weeks ago) little friend and just like him she was a little smiler! She is dinky for her age, and was very sleepy today which really helped achieve those newborn like images.

James Beginnings session 3

This morning started for me with a visit to Thorndon Country park in Brentwood. It was a gorgeous day, a little nippy but the sun was shining. In the park, I met James with his mummy and daddy for his last Beginnings session. After overcoming his initial shyness ( all of 2 minutes!) James was happily running around, picking up sticks, looking out for doggies, and playing in the dirt! He has a lovely little personality, and it's been a pleasure to watch him grow up over the last 18 months.

Austin & Charles Session 2 with baby Oliver

I had 3 little rascals in my studio today - Austin & Charles (the cheeky little twins), and the new addition to the family, the lovely baby Oliver. The older boys had great fun jumping on the various studio settees and chairs. In the meantime, I was trying to work with Oliver to recreate some of those lovely newborn shots, even though he is already 4 weeks. I just love that image of the boys as a contrast to Oliver blissfully asleep...
