Its' been a little quiet on here lately....but a hive of activity behind closed doors! Sadly due to privacy reasons I cannot show you some of my recent shoots but don't worry I have some yummy babies that will follow this post! Some exciting stuff is happening over the next month - my new newborn blog is finally going online, and a newsletter with a competition will also be on the way soon, so if you are an existing customer you should be getting that in a few weeks.

The diary is as busy as ever, and I cannot wait for spring now - based on my hard work in the garden over at the end of last year, I should have about 500 flowers popping up in my garden - so looking forward to using it for some gorgeous outdoor shots. Bluebells are also on their way - normally at the end of April/start of May. This year I am really looking forward to using Micheldever Woods - well known for the beautiful bluebells. If you have older children please bear in mind that I don't work at weekends - so if you want to book for half term time please do get in touch sooner rather than later, as half terms book up before any other time.

I have also recently had a lot of enquirers for newborn sessions where the baby is 4/5/6 weeks old. Please note this is far too late - the babies you see in the lovely newborn poses are all under 2 weeks old. So again - please get in touch asap after your 20 week scan!  

I will leave you with an outdoor image of my lovely cheeky monkey ( not so little anymore) who is going to be 10 this year. I rarely post images of her, and should do so more often as she loves the camera now, and no longer runs away at the sight of it! Izzy, I know you read mummy's blog, hope this doesn't embarrass you, but just wanted to say I am very proud of you and the young lady you are becoming. Just stop growing up quite so quickly - pretty please! xxx

Well... after the last few weeks of madness I am going away for a weeks rest before the Christmas rush begins. Unfortunately due to moving house, shooting at various locations around the country, and commuting 4 hours a day on some days, this blog has got a little behind! Sadly I wont get a chance to blog the last couple of weeks shoots, but I absolutely promise to be good and go back to regular blogging in November. Now that my move is complete, I cannot wait for things to settle down and get back to normal. But first, I must get some much needed sleep!

I am now away for a few days - I am flying out for a newborn session in Dubai, and will be back in the studio on Friday. The diary is now fully booked for any shoots where you need your order before Christmas. I have approximately 3 session slots remaining for the end of November and limited availability for December.  Even January is already looking busy with almost 10 newborns booked in! So...it's been a while since I have blogged, I know. I have been living between 2 homes - working from the studio in Essex, weekends in Hampshire, shooting lots, designing albums and trying to sleep in between! Things are settling down a little now I have managed to settle Izzy at her new school, and hopefully I will have time to blog regularly again. There are lots of lovely shiny new things in the pipeline - a dedicated newborn blog, which has been a long time coming, but finally it's almost there - I want it to be perfect and I can't wait for you to see it. I also feel another rebrand coming on, of the non-newborn side of my photography. I have been working on it behind the scenes for a while and hoping to launch the brand in the new year. 

I have many exciting things going on right now, doing a couple of commercial shoots for baby clothing companies, next month I am flying out to do a newborn shoot all the way in Dubai, and working on a new special fine art product, perfect for presenting those lovely soft baby shots. I have also had a great editorial published in Baby London, Baby Hampshire and Baby Surrey magazine, I will scan it when I get a moment, but in the meantime you can read the article right HERE. I have also had several images used on the covers and in articles in Germany, so very pleased about that.

Session availability for 2011 is now limited so if you want to get a shoot booked in please do contact me asap. For now, I must go and do some editing, but I promise to blog more soon!

It's been quiet here lately - I know! I have been busy relocating and have now half moved house to Hampshire. I will be splitting my time for the next few months between Essex and Hampshire - shooting at the studio in Essex, but now also utilizing some lovely locations around my new home for any location sessions. I can't wait to shoot my bluebell sessions next year at the gorgeous Micheldever Woods . For now I am taking some well earned time out - I will be away on holiday and then moving the rest of the house.

Please note that the diary is now getting pretty full for the upcoming months. October is always the busiest month of the year due to it being pre Christmas, and I have 12 sessions left available for that month. The Christmas deadlines this year are the 15th November - so if you would like pictures for Christmas, your shoot must happen by that date, or I cannot guarantee that I will be able to turn things around on time.
