Happy New Year to you all!

It was my first day back at the studio today, and it was lovely to be shooting again. January is a bit of a bitty month for me, as I have been away, and will be again from the 18th for 4 days. I still have a backlog of work from before Christmas, and therefore apart from the sessions I already have booked I am not taking any more sessions on until the first week of February. Unless of course you have a newborn, in which case please contact me and I will make sure I accommodate you. Look out for the new website in the next week or so, as well as an email newsletter, plus some other bits and pieces.  

I will be exhibiting some of my work at the London baby Show which takes place at the ExCel in London between the 19th and the 21st of February. I will also be featured in a brand new magazine, which is out on the shelves on the 15th of February but if you REGISTER HERE you can get it absolutely free. It is a lovely glossy magazine, very similar to Junior, but concentrating on London and surrounding areas.

With spring coming up I am really looking forward to getting out in the open again and shooting on location. I already have a very log waiting list for the bluebell sessions so if you would like to be contacted when the time is right please email me . This year has been fabulous, my busiest year to date. I am currently overwhelmed by proofs, outstanding album designs, orders and to top it all of I have 3 weddings to shoot in the next 10 days. Therefore, I am unable to take on any more shoots this year - it has hit me today it's only 3 weeks until Christmas! Of course, if you are expecting a newborn I will make an exception as it is time sensitive and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thank you all so much for your support this year! 

This morning, I photographed 2 adorable girlies , and yes they are twins! So different, but both so lovely.

Ok so after putting in lots of sleepless nights, and really putting my head down I have finally almost caught up, yipeee! Things are still taking time due to the Christmas rush but it's all under control. As I have a busy wedding month in December with weddings, and several portraits already booked in advance I only have a few portrait slots left for 2009, so please call me asap if you would like one of those. The studio closes 20th December until January 4th.

Lots has happened in the last couple of weeks - had some lovely sessions, new floor put down in the studio, new website almost done and ready to go live in a couple of weeks or so....whew. And I can't believe Christmas is almost here! Here are a couple of pics of the new studio floor, plus I now also have a lovely chocolate brown feature wall. Just need to decide what to hang there...I am really into brown at the moment, it's officially the new black for me. It can be viewed as quite old fashioned but I think it's just beautiful as a background, if shot in a contemporary way. if I have fallen off the edge of the earth - nope I am still here!

Due to the overwhelming amount of proofs and orders I need to get done I have decided to not post sneak previews for a couple of weeks as they are very time consuming an concentrate on getting my workload cleared. With the busy Christmas period it is important to me that customer service does not suffer, and I must admit I have been getting behind, and getting very little sleep! I still have three weddings too shoot before the year end too, so things are rather busy. Lots of exciting stuff going on in the background with the new website, literature, a new look for the studio...I don't know where to start! Rest assured I will keep you posted...
