Today I had the pleasure of shooting a session with George and mummy an
daddy. We did the shoot on the beach in Frinton-on-Sea. What I love
about that beach is mainly how quiet it is , just the sea and some
beach huts. We got there early when the tide was out and it was lovely
morning. George really enjoyed running around and playing with the
sand. In fact he barely stood still so I got a bit of a early morning
workout!

Today I was in South Weald Country shooting Kayleigh's last beginnings session. She looked lovely in her spotty pink dress. She is a strong minded little lady and knew exactly what she did and didn't want. We had a little walk, first to the tall grasses and then to the bird hide, and once we found a gate Kayleigh could open and closed she was very happy! Here is a sneak peek -

This morning I finally got round to photographing these 3 lovely girls ! Kerry ( who a lot of you will know) and who works with me, has been a dear friend since we met at a NCT class 7 years ago. Kerry has been in charge of the viewings for the last 3 or 4 years now, and I couldn't do without her! We have been meaning to do this for some time, so I am really pleased we finally got round to it. Kerry's girls are a complete credit to her ( and daddy of course) and were good as gold. Because of the different age groups they certainly do have different attentions spans, but we tied the session up in about an hour and a half, which is pretty much the average. I was going to use some nice balloons, but being as dopey as I am I tied them to a bench and when I went back for them...they were gone :( I obviously need some lessons in tying knots! All images shot using natural light and reflectors at South Weald Country Park. Anyway, without further ado, here are the girlies -

Kerry Hodges:

This afternoon I had another session, this time in South Weald Country park. This time it was 2 very pretty girls, Mia whom I have photographed at least 4 times now, and her lovely sister Emme who I met for the first time. The family dog, mummy and daddy also came along so we had the whole family present! The girls looked really sweet in their dresses, and acted really sweet too until Mia summed the proceedings up with "this is doing my head in". Classic, I couldn't help but laugh!

My afternoon ended with 2 cheeky little rascals - Hayden & big brother Ethan. I met the boys and mummy at Bedfords Park. It had just started raining , but it wasn't to bad, so the boys had a quick runabout. Ethan, being older, was cool, calm & collected , whilst Hayden had great fun simply running off whenever the camera was pointed in his direction! Still we got some lovely shots and here is a preview.
