Today I traveled to Fulham to do a home shoot with lovely baby Max. He was a real sweetie and from the moment I arrived very aware of the camera. He is definitely a strong little boy and was excellent on his tummy , I love the shot below, he is most definitely posing! There was some lovely natural light in the house, and I used that for all the images.

My second session today was little more unusual for me as I don't very
often shoot larger family groups. Mainly down to the fact that I mostly
photograph babies! But, just like it is nice to go outdoors, it is also
nice to have a bit of a change, and a challenge. Which it always is
with a bigger group - getting everyone looking at the camera at the
same time, with eyes open, and a good expression, is harder that you
may think! The T. clan did rather well , and I had great fun shooting
them and convincing the boys ( that's the older boys) that it is in
fact a very good idea to look happy in pictures for their mum. I
certainly had to make sure I got some good shots since the family were
all from different parts of the country - Oxford, Bristol, and even
Derbyshire!

Yay, back out to the great outdoors! As you all know I love shooting babies and newborns. But as I have many of my babies grow into walking talking little people, it only seems appropriate that I continue to document their progress. I do love shooting outdoors, it certainly blows away the cobwebs and gives me a little variety. Today, my first shoot was with Edward, who came back for his last Beginnings session. We popped down to the local park for a walk, and although it was rather chilly Edward seemed to take it all in his stride!

Hello to all of you! Yet again I disappeared for a week or so, with very good reason...As some of you know I had some dental implants done recently. Unfortunately I got an infection and pretty much the last 2 and a half weeks has been a time of being in ever increasing agony. This culminated in me flying out for some emergency surgery last weekend. On return, and a day late, I was off straight into a very intense documentary photography workshop in Brighton. I am now back at home, rather drained, but happy to be in less pain and hoping all will be ok when my stitches come out on Monday...fingers crossed! I will be answering all my emails over the weekend, I have over 200 to go through so thank you so much for your patience. The website relaunch also got delayed, but it will most definitely be up and running by next Friday as I am attending the Baby Show at Excel as an exhibitor. I have a couple of spare tickets so if you would like those please email me - first come , first served.
I am now taking bookings for March so please drop me a line if you would like to book a photo session. Location photography sessions start in March, as the weather hopefully turns and the daffodils start coming out. Here is a piccie of the gorgeous Avni in daffodils from last year! I was back in the studio today, so baby Lulu's sneak preview is next...

Jeannette:
Glad to have you back again! Hope you get better and good luck at the Baby Show. Thank you for reminding us that we may see spring again. As much as I love winter this year I had enough of it as probably everyone else :) xxx

Happy New Year to you all!
It was my first day back at the studio today, and it was lovely to be shooting again. January is a bit of a bitty month for me, as I have been away, and will be again from the 18th for 4 days. I still have a backlog of work from before Christmas, and therefore apart from the sessions I already have booked I am not taking any more sessions on until the first week of February. Unless of course you have a newborn, in which case please contact me and I will make sure I accommodate you. Look out for the new website in the next week or so, as well as an email newsletter, plus some other bits and pieces.
I will be exhibiting some of my work at the London baby Show which takes place at the ExCel in London between the 19th and the 21st of February. If you are planning to attend, please do pop over for a chat! I will be in the boutique section ( stand BB3), and would love to meet you. To get your tickets for the baby show just click HERE.
I will also be featured in a brand new magazine, which is out on the shelves on the 15th of February but if you REGISTER HERE you can get it absolutely free. It is a lovely glossy magazine, very similar to Junior, but concentrating on London and surrounding areas.
With spring coming up I am really looking forward to getting out in the open again and shooting on location. I already have a very log waiting list for the bluebell sessions so if you would like to be contacted when the time is right please email me . I leave you with an image from one of last year's bluebell sessions....so sweet.
