About Me Hi and welcome to my Blog!  Here I will post sneak previews of recent photo sessions, including newborn photos, baby photos, and some older childrens' photos. Some personal bits, my random musings and also keep you posted on what is happening in my world. I would really love it if you took the time to leave a comment if you see something you like. Please take your time and explore, there are pages and pages of previous sessions, which include photos of some gorgeous babies, and older children. And hopefully, we will meet soon...Much love, Maria
My second shoot was in Highgate, and I met another fantastic family. The girls were just so lovely, but also so different. Layla, the eldest, entertained me with various little stories. Yasmin, the little live wire, kept me going with her boundless energy & giggles. Safiya, the youngest and most serious, warmed up slowly and I was delighted to see her lovely smile when she got to push her buggy. I got so many lovely shots....a couple of favorites below.

September 2, 2009 // Location / Newborns / Sneak Previews
I spent the day in North London today. Mt first shoot was in Angel where I had a chance to meet Oliver & Edith. Oliver is an angelic looking blue eyed boy, and photographs beautifully. Although quite strong headed he has a lovely temperament and was loving jumping up and down all over the bed. Edith is as gorgeous as newborns can be and although over a month old, she is still tiny since her due date was only a few days ago. A sneak preview below.

Matilda Walker:

Thank you so much Maria! They are lovely... Well done for getting Oliver to have so much fun and for bringing it out in the photographs, especially as he was tired and quite grumpy (and had a rather stressed out mummy). Can't wait to see the rest.

My second session today was with four extremely well behaved young men at their beautiful home. They boys were very cooperative, and worked so well with me, I was done in less than an hour , which doesn't happen too often! We did a couple of different styles of portrait  and here is a little sneak peek.

My first session today was Emma, and her big brother Andrew. As its the last Beginnings session we went to South Weald Country Park to shoot on location. Emma was in a slightly serious mood but mummy and Andrew managed to raise a few little smiles which was great. My 2 favorite images from the session are enclosed below, check out Emma's gorgeous blue eyes!

Today I had a split session with the lovely Holly, Dylan & Ruby and mummy and daddy.  We started off in the studio and they went off to South Weald Country park to get some outdoor images. All 3 kids are lovely, but also very different, and I had a bit of a job convincing Dylan that having your picture taken is a very good idea - typical boy! Holly also informed me that it's fairly boring stuff so I had to move quickly before everyone lost interest. I think Ruby enjoyed it the most , but then she can't talk yet so who knows what she made of it all!
