This morning I had a great newborn session with a gorgeous newborn baby boy, who came to see me all the way from Maida Vale. William is just 6 days old , and has the most amazing head of hair. He was a little more active than the average newborn, but with some patience and lots of top ups from mummy, we got some amazing shots! I just love newborn photography, I could do it all day...to top it off William did quite a few "smiles", how cool is that?

This morning i photographed a sweet baby boy called Bobby, at just 5 days old. I photographed his sister Scarlett at 4 days old about a year ago, him and his big sis were born 1 year and 1 day apart. Bobby has the most scrumptious cheeks and slept through most of his session - just how we like it!

My second session today was little more unusual for me as I don't very
often shoot larger family groups. Mainly down to the fact that I mostly
photograph babies! But, just like it is nice to go outdoors, it is also
nice to have a bit of a change, and a challenge. Which it always is
with a bigger group - getting everyone looking at the camera at the
same time, with eyes open, and a good expression, is harder that you
may think! The T. clan did rather well , and I had great fun shooting
them and convincing the boys ( that's the older boys) that it is in
fact a very good idea to look happy in pictures for their mum. I
certainly had to make sure I got some good shots since the family were
all from different parts of the country - Oxford, Bristol, and even
Derbyshire!

Yay, back out to the great outdoors! As you all know I love shooting babies and newborns. But as I have many of my babies grow into walking talking little people, it only seems appropriate that I continue to document their progress. I do love shooting outdoors, it certainly blows away the cobwebs and gives me a little variety. Today, my first shoot was with Edward, who came back for his last Beginnings session. We popped down to the local park for a walk, and although it was rather chilly Edward seemed to take it all in his stride!

My second session was with a beautiful newborn baby girl, Ayla. She came all the way from west London, accompanied by mummy and daddy. She was a little star during our session, and I was delighted that I could try out my latest purchase, a lovely vintage pram. Ayla was dinky enough to fit ito it and content enough to go to sleep in too. Since you all know how much I love newborn photography here is a extra big sneak preview!

Jeannette:
Those pictures are so cute! Always love the newborns but the picture with the vintage pram is just so adorable!!!!

To the photogenic family, it is a pleasure looking at the awesome William Jack smiling at the world.
(03.10.10 @ 07:30 AM)The security of the handsome dad encapsulating his beautiful wife and his " pride & joy" sends out a thousand and one messages.
If these are the type of pics we are waiting for, we just cannot wait to see William Jack's full story in Pics.
