Ok so after putting in lots of sleepless nights, and really putting my head down I have finally almost caught up, yipeee! Things are still taking time due to the Christmas rush but it's all under control. As I have a busy wedding month in December with weddings, and several portraits already booked in advance I only have a few portrait slots left for 2009, so please call me asap if you would like one of those. The studio closes 20th December until January 4th.

Lots has happened in the last couple of weeks - had some lovely sessions, new floor put down in the studio, new website almost done and ready to go live in a couple of weeks or so....whew. And I can't believe Christmas is almost here! Here are a couple of pics of the new studio floor, plus I now also have a lovely chocolate brown feature wall. Just need to decide what to hang there...I am really into brown at the moment, it's officially the new black for me. It can be viewed as quite old fashioned but I think it's just beautiful as a background, if shot in a contemporary way. Right, enough from me, check out the next post I am about to do with multiple sneak previews!

if I have fallen off the edge of the earth - nope I am still here!

Due to the overwhelming amount of proofs and orders I need to get done I have decided to not post sneak previews for a couple of weeks as they are very time consuming an concentrate on getting my workload cleared. With the busy Christmas period it is important to me that customer service does not suffer, and I must admit I have been getting behind, and getting very little sleep! I still have three weddings too shoot before the year end too, so things are rather busy. Lots of exciting stuff going on in the background with the new website, literature, a new look for the studio...I don't know where to start! Rest assured I will keep you posted...

I will now be away from the studio until the evening of Sunday, the 1st of November. If you are an existing customer please give Kerry a call with any queries. Please remember that Christmas is really not so far away, so if you are looking to have pictures done with the Christmas deadline in mind please get in touch as soon as possible!

After being busy on the wedding side of the business and also being away, I am now back in the studio and very much looking forward to photographing lots of lovely babies. With a busy October ahead and a the upcoming Christmas period , session slots are limited so please ensure you book way in advance. The Christmas deadline is the 15th of November as always. Due to a change in personal circumstances I will only be available for sessions during school hours ( so 9.30  with last session at 1.30) and evening sessions will be available for the older children and family groups. It's been a bit quieter on here of late - I am still alive and well ! I have been busy shooting weddings, dealing with my website being tampered with and general IT issues, and shooting some fantastic portrait sessions ( see below for latest sneak previews). With school holidays now almost over I am preparing for the busy Christmas season and looking forward to getting back to a normal routine. I can't believe my little munchkin is starting Juniors this year....time flies too fast!

I am now pretty much at full capacity for September, and taking bookings for October. However please do contact me if your shoot is time sensitive i.e. you have a newborn that you would like photographed at 7 days or less.
