Today I popped into Bababoom, a fab new shop opening this Saturday, in Loughton high Street. I was greeted by the lovely Becky holding a screwdriver, beavering away and trying to get everything sorted for the big launch. I designed the launch flyers and they have been distributed in several places, but if you haven't got yours yet , here are the details.  So if you get a moment on Saturday, please drop in to see the Bababoom team and admire their lovely new shop & goodies. I will have some of my images displayed on their walls, can't wait to see them up! The website is www.bababoom.co.uk .

Bababoom offers a range of services, from Independent Midwifery, Health Visiting, Alternative Therapies to a shop packed with lovely goodies and gifts every pregnant woman would love.

My first shoot after not picking the camera up for over a week was with a lovely baby boy called Zac. He went easy on me - not only does he look angelic with his perfect features, but he also behaved like a little angel too!

A few month backs I wrote about the ESSEX MIDWIFERY PRACTICE.

Today I had the pleasure of doing Rachel & Jenny's head shots for their much improved and updated WEBSITE.

Just a quick reminder -  Rachel & Jenny offer independent midwifery care tailored to your own needs. It is a bespoke service, much in demand and there are only a few openings left for his year. If you want to find out more about it please just visit the website - be sure to check out the birth stories and testimonials!

I am looking forward to working together on raising awareness about both Independent midwifery and maternity and newborn photography. And here are the lovely ladies!

Well, I am still away and enjoying the New Forest and spending some precious time with my daughter & hubby.  The weather is lovely , and it's great to catch up on some sleep! But since I am still behind with bits & pieces, I thought I would take a few minutes out and do a quick blog post.

A few weeks ago I had a mummy with a newborn in my studio, and she chatted to me about her experience of dealing with a private midwife. In her words it was " the best money I ever spent". So I made it my business to find out a little more about it - I am all for supporting local businesses , especially when they get such glowing reviews.

So what is it all about? In a nutshell, Rachel & Jenny provide independent midwifery care tailored to your own needs, providing you with a much better chance of a memorable and positive childbirth experience. With 24 hour access to a midwife, help and support with labor and some post natal care, it certainly makes for a more relaxed and pleasant experience. Pregnancy is such an amazing part of our lives, but can also can be quite scary, so having that sort of support certainly makes it more enjoyable and stress free.

If you want to find out more about it please just visit the website - be sure to check out the birth stories and testimonials! The website link is right here ESSEX MIDWIFERY PRACTICE

I am back to the studio and shooting on Tuesday, so more sneak previews coming up soon!

I came across Essex mums forum some time ago. The forum was set up and is maintained by Louise, who is a mini celebrity having been featured both on radio and many local papers! Louise came to visit me in the studio with her little boy Felix - he now proudly graces the Forum banner - handsome little man!

Essex Mums is a fairly new site (started in March 2008) but already has over  850 members. It is primarily for sharing information about things to  do in Essex, including days out, parent and toddler groups, classes  and more, but is also for general chatter and meeting other parents.

Louise says -

" We have have had new babies, numerous pregnancies (even leading to talk  of there being Essex Mums baby dust!) and many good friends have  been made - this has been the most wonderful thing about it all to  me, seeing people get to know each other and go from mere  acquaintances to real, solid friends. Of course the kids love meeting  up with each other too, and it's been lovely to see them all grow -  hopefully we will continue to see this for years to come."

So if you want to join the community please go to ESSEX MUMS  and sign up.

And Louise... I will see you again asoon when the new baba comes along  !
