About Me Hi and welcome to my Blog!  Here I will post sneak previews of recent photo sessions, including newborn photos, baby photos, and some older childrens' photos. Some personal bits, my random musings and also keep you posted on what is happening in my world. I am based in in Hampshire, a lovely country location, about an hour from most parts of London. I would really love it if you took the time to leave a comment if you see something you like. Please take your time and explore, there are pages and pages of previous sessions, which include photos of some gorgeous babies, and older children. And hopefully, we will meet soon...Much love, Maria

Today I met a lovely and brave lady called Luisa. She was happy for me to share these with you, and I think she looks fab! In my opinion, pregnancy photography is a specialized field -it's all about your subject feeling comfortable with themselves, their photographer, and trusting that the end results will be classy and beautiful. I enjoy it very much and have great fun working with my subjects - I only wish more ladies were aware that the days standing awkwardly being draped in a shirt and holding a fake flower to the tummy are over (any photographers reading this who like that sort of shot - please don't take it personally). My biggest joy is when I deliver finished images to my clients - and know they can look back at this very special time with pride, and remember how lovely they felt and how great they looked.

I have enclosed below a few versions of a couple of the images - simply to show how toning  and a change of colour can alter the mood & feel of an image - but also to show how versatile the end results can be if you are trying to fit them to your interiors. All those images were shot in one session, with very simple lighting set ups or natural light.

I am Luisa's Mother, and I've never seen her look happier, you have truly captured the essence of my daughter, she is a lovely woman. But I am biased. Thank you.
